THE ORIGINAL STUARTS MICROMETER ENGINEERS MARKING 38g

Normally known as Engineers Blue, this is a thick blue grease which is used as a thin even smear so when two parts are fitted together the area of contact is marked by the transference of the blue colour.

Typical uses are:-

Checking valve contact on the seats.

Contact on crown wheels and pinions/gears in differentials and gearbox`s.

White metal bearings/split bearings.

Checking for flatness of heads/oil pump plates on surface tables.

The fit of tapers etc.

If your repairing, rebuilding, restoring engines or gearboxs either modern or old, classic or vintage then this is an essential workshop supply.

This is sold in 38gram tins.

Please look in our shop for cylinder head valve seat repair packs which include fine and coarse grinding paste, sykes pickavant valve grinding sticks, engineers blue and cylinder head stands.
