SILVER RTV silicone sealent

This is the high spec  single part RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanising) on a acetone basis with a thermal resistance of 250 deg centigrade. SILVER in colour (as unpainted crankcases). This sealer has been  recommended by major engine manufacturers. It can be used instead of gaskets on metal to metal joints and also supplement solid gaskets providing an excellent resistant joint to petrol, oil, gear oil and liquid coolants including water.  

This comes in a 100g tube and will last for many engine rebuilds . store in a upright position back in it`s box for the longest life , Excess sealer can be easily removed  when dry by rubbing the outside of the joint with your fingers 

THIS HAS THE SAME PROPERTIES AND IS A TOP QUALITY PRODUCT AT A 1/4 OF THE PRICE. 

As with all Threebond products thoroughly clean the surfaces, don't leave any oil on them at all, degrease with thinners, apply evenly and thinly to one surface only,wait one minute and proceed with your assembly. After use expel any air in the tube and wipe the top  and close the cap . Store upright in a cool dark place.

In my workshop I use this product for SILVER crankcased engines of any make. this 1200 series THREEBOND silicone sealent has a supreme  resistance to oil and coolent and which can withstand up to 400% elongation .Also being comparitivly soft and not particulary strong, means casings can easily be parted.
