Coarse 120 Grit Grinding Paste

500g (ONE POT)

I run an engine reconditioning business and this is the paste that we use for all our valve lapping. In fact lapping anything from gasket faces, tapers, cutting tools for radius etc.

I find that it produces a perfect dull grey, non scratched uniform finish, preferably prior to finishing with 400 grit fine paste to produce a perfect seal and a very good heat transfer.

It cuts really quickly, espcially if you lubricate the stem and the seat with a fine mist of lubrication spray and as the grit dulls it is easily wiped off and replaced to speed up the process.
